I first joined the show as the only matte painter to help towards the end of the production on the under water city. As our workload grew, I had to schedule and prepare the best workflow to tackle a larger number of shots in a really small amount of time. For that I looked into workflow options, schedule and deliverables with the other departments before Thomas jumped on board. After that I mainly focused on lighting, shading, layout and environment ingest as well as rendering and rendering optimization, cyc setups ect....
